Despite cutbacks to services elsewhere, the coalition government has agreed to press ahead with a multi-million pound financial vuid service that will offer every family in Britain an annual financial health check. The government agency, called the Consumer Financial Education Body, has been tasked with delivering the initiative, which is due to be launched across the country next spring. It is called Money Made Clear and the idea is that families will get a «prescription» offering them clear advice on steps they can take to improve their financial situation both now and in the future.
