That’s how I’ve been doing it, anyway — although I don’t know how well you’ll do if you don’t have the merchant cruiser as that’s all I’ve been using. Adam’s Way is a hell of a detour though. If you’ve got business in the south then fine, but I found it hard to justify making that leg of the trip rather than just selling in London. That’s true; like I said I was using the merchant vessel shipping loads of up to 90 at a time, so an extra three echoes in that context adds up quite quickly. If you’re using a smaller ship, the detour would be largely pointless and possibly unprofitable if you take into account fuel and supplies. I’d like to also add to this, that with a good spy ring going in khan’s heart, access to the brass embassy and completion of the isle of cats storyline you can net two strategic information and two red honey firkins; which could net an additional profit with a minimum of profit if you have to bribe the police in London.
It can be hard to keep your spy ring going but well worth it in the long run. I have seen this method around, so I might as well post here, basically it is running the last tour and making sure you always get back with at least 10 of the Tombies to make it profitable.
