We skimmed over large chunks of every park we were in and we were often at the parks from the time they opened until well after dark. Save your money and just explore one park per day instead. If you want everyone in your family to have Mickey Mouse ears, buy them beforehand and pull them out when you arrive at the park. Our Disney World vacation was a wonderful one. Although I did a lot of homework in advance and we definitely did some things right in terms of minimizing the cost, it was hard to grasp many of the smaller tactics until we were actually on site — and then I realized that there were several additional things we could have done to make the trip less expensive without missing a moment of fun.
